Spirited Away
Michelle- I've been neglecting my blog - thanks for reminding me!
This is the next in the Miyazaki series- Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away. I tied for third place with this last week at the NJ SCBWI juried art show! Next up will be from Howl's Moving Castle.
Ahhhh what a gorgeous spirited away Penny!! Spirited Away was our first introduction to Miyazaki! My kids thought it was a little creepy ... I guess parents turning into pigs, and giant spirit monsters that try to eat everything will do that to you when your little, go figure? :)
And a HUGE congrats on 3rd place! That is so fantastic!!
Looking forward to Howl's and hoping you'll pull a Kiki's Delivery Service out too!!
Thanks Michelle- yes, Spirted Away is pretty creepy but my kids seem to enjoy the creepiness. My two neices however just can't watch it. Kiki is one of my most favorites- I have to make her flying- there are too many great scenes in that one! Let me know if you have a scene suggestion:)
